Free meals are provided to approximately 2,500 students through ELMEPA restaurants in Heraklion and its other Departments in Crete. The restaurant in Heraklion provides breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The restaurant’s opening hours are from 07:30–09:00, 12:00–16:00 and 19:00–22:00. The Student Residence in Heraklion hosts 296 students, with 56 double rooms, 4 places for disabled people and 236 single rooms. The cost of accommodation is 30€/month for double rooms and 45€/month for single rooms, with free accommodation for families with many children in double rooms.
