General Rights and Obligations:

Rights:
Postgraduate students enjoy the same rights as first-cycle students, except for the provision of free textbooks.

Obligations:

  • Attending courses and participating in scientific events.
  • Submit assignments within deadlines.
  • Participation in course exams.
  • Participation in the program evaluation.
  • Successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma Thesis.
  • Regular settlement of financial and other obligations to the Foundation.
  • Compliance with regulations and respect for the rules of academic ethics.

Provision of Auxiliary Teaching Project

MSc students are required to provide auxiliary teaching work up to 6 hours per week. This may include:

  • Assistance to members of the Teaching and Research Staff (T.R.S.)
  • Student practice, conducting tutorials and laboratory exercises.
  • Exam supervision and exercise correction.

Student Support and Guidance

The Postgraduate Program provides a range of support services to assist students in successfully completing the program:

  • Guidance for the Master’s Thesis: Each student has the opportunity to choose a supervisor to guide their master’s thesis.
  • Scientific Events: Students participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences, which allow them to come into contact with the latest developments in the field.
  • Interface with Industry: The program offers opportunities for internships and collaboration with companies in the IT sector.

Teaching and Assessment

Teaching includes lectures, workshops, material screenings and discussions based on modern educational materials. Course evaluation is done by:

  • Written Exam.
  • Projects (individual or group).
  • Participation in lectures and workshops.
  • Presentation of the final project during the semester or at the completion of the course.

For the master’s thesis, the evaluation is based on the overall quality of the project, as well as its presentation during the thesis defense in front of a committee.
